Wow, that was fast, Axel! I just heard the interview … What wasn’t mentioned, and surely must exacerbate the effect, is that social bees will communicate the message, “This is the good stuff!” back to the colony, recruiting other foragers. So, not only are they addicted to the neonics, they have ‘dealers’ pushing the stuff.
