Here are the directions to the upcoming Field Days for the students of the Selkirk College Beginner Beekeeping courses in Grand Forks and Nakusp.
The Grand Forks Day is this coming Sunday, 19 April from 11:00 to 16:00. The location is along 27th St between the Kal Tire shop and Extra Foods.
The Nakusp Day is the following Sunday, 26 April from 11:00 to 16:00. The location is The Smiling Hills Bed and Breakfast on Owl Road between Summit Lake and Slocan Lake.
Please wear light coloured smooth clothing (not wool or fuzzy fleece). Have a veil or mosquito net for your head. Also bring a lunch, drink, and note book if you wish. Some kind of lawn chair, folding chair is also a good idea. You don’t want to be standing for 5 hours. See you there and then. Do a sun dance for good weather. 🙂
