Just got an e-mail from Cara-Lee Malange, the Continuing Education co-ordinator at Selkirk College. They only have 2 people signed up for the Marketsafe course scheduled for this Saturday, Feb 21, at the Castlegar campus. This is a one day course that is recommended for anyone planning on selling their honey at a Farmer’s Market. Keeps you on the right side of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA). Sorry for the short notice but if you want to attend, you need to let the college know immediately since they are considering not running this session. There are two more sessions planned in Grand Forks and New Denver if those locations are more convenient for you. The link to the course information is;
